I have been focusing recently on helpful and healthful apps.  Now, apps for meditation!

Why would you want this?

Meditation can be used to de-stress, re-focus, improve health, decrease pain, reduce symptoms of anxiety, promote sleep, performance in sports, school, public speaking and more.

Apps for Meditation

Meditation is not particularly mysterious or hard to learn. Actually, incorporating meditation into your life is as easy as finding a few moments, going to a quiet place, and following the guided instructions provided on one of these easily available, often free apps.

How much time does it take?

It depends on your preference. On my little app, there are two minutes stress reduction recordings and longer, six to ten minute “sessions,” designed for other purposes.

There are many meditations to pick from, recorded by different men and women, so you can find the voice or style you like best, to guide you through sequences on stress reduction, sleep promotion, anxiety relief, pain reduction, happiness cultivation, performance enhancement, confidence building and encouraging compassion.

How can meditation do all this?

It’s all about the mind. A great deal of what happens in our world starts with what happens in our mind. If we can calm and re-direct our minds, things can really change.

Wishing you all the best,
