Good morning! Welcome to another installment on the Power of Touch.

Here are some adjectives describing things we perceive instantly… right in the moment we touch something. In a flash, we recognize bumpy, hot, clammy, coarse, cold, curly, dry, feathery, firm, greasy, hairy, lumpy, mushy, sharp, silky, uneven, rough, watery, waxy and so much more. There’s really a whole world of knowing that we just glide through every single day, based entirely on physical touch.

If you wish, be mindful of touch today. How many sensations and textures do you feel… including the air, temperature, clothes, furniture, vibrations from moving vehicles, objects you hold, phones, computers, etc?

How do you use touch to communicate with others?
